 At Castle Slate Roofing we offer annual and bi-annual roof maintenance. Proper roof maintenace is the key to having a dry sound roof system.One should have their roof inspected and cleaned yearly.This helps to make sure the gutters are flowing properly,and check if their are any loose or missing roof slates.Which can also cause significant damage.

        Also, In the winter time snow will freeze to the slates and as it slides off ,it pulls out the slate.This is why it is very important to have a qualified slate roofer inspect the roof.One should check the ridge caps,valleys,step flashings.chimneys(including the mortar) and the gutters.
